Daniel Delfosse, Dr.sc.techn., ist seit 2020 Leiter Regulation & Innovation und Geschäftsleitungsmitglied beim Industrieverband Swiss Medtech. Sein Mantra lautet «Innovation despite regulation» und er verfolgt das Ziel, den Standort Schweiz für die Medtech-Branche möglichst attraktiv zu halten. 

Daniel schloss sein Studium an der ETH Zürich als Werkstoffingenieur ab und dissertierte an der EPF Lausanne. Nach einem Forschungsaufenthalt an der University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Kanada, wechselte er in die Medtech-Industrie. Während fast 20 Jahren war er als Innovationsleiter und Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung für die Firma Mathys AG Bettlach tätig, immer im Spannungsfeld zwischen Regulation und Innovation. 

Daniel Delfosse, Dr.sc.techn., is Head of Regulation & Innovation and a member of the Executive Board at the industry association Swiss Medtech since 2020. His mantra is "innovation despite regulation" and he pursues the goal of keeping Switzerland as an attractive location for the medtech industry. 

Daniel graduated from ETH Zurich as a materials engineer and did his doctorate at EPF Lausanne. After a research stay at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, he moved to the medtech industry. For almost 20 years he worked as innovation manager and member of the executive board for Mathys Ltd Bettlach, always entangled between regulation and innovation.
